SALMA HAYEK JOINS THE 'GOT MILK?' CAMPAIGN

Salma Hayek has join the 'Got Milk?' campaign.

Salma Hayek has also started the new campaign for breakfast.  The campaign will push more people to stop skipping breakfast and eat in the morning at least a bowl of cereal.

Here is what Salma had to say:

“My days are always super busy, always very hectic, and I have to juggle so many things at the same time, but I wouldn’t dream of skipping breakfast,” said Hayek. “I recognize how valuable it is to begin the day with a healthy breakfast that includes milk. It’s a special time that I can share with my family, and I feel good that my daughter is getting the best start possible to her day.”
“I make sure that my family has a nutritious breakfast every day. “We often keep it simple with cereal and milk at breakfast, or sometimes we have some fun and make smoothies with milk and fruit. As long as my daughter has that glass of milk, I know that she’s getting calcium, protein and other nutrients to help her be strong, focused and ready for the day. Plus, I make sure she sees me make healthy choices in the morning, too. I’m trying to be a positive breakfast role model.”

They do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Any campaign that can keep people healthy is great.

WHITNEY HOUSTON DRUG DEALER NETWORK

Just Whitney
It seems Whitney Houston was on crack/ cocaine for the last 20 years.

I thought  it was just 10 years.  I have never been a huge fan of Whitney's i like some of her songs so i guess i wasn't paying attention to her.

Uncle Bob says he started selling cocaine to Whitney in 1990.  Here is what the Globe magazine is reporting:

According to the Globe print edition, March 5, 2012:  Drug dealer Uncle Rob said he told Whitney: ‘I told her, You’re doing too much, You’ve got to slow down.’
At first he delivered drugs through an intermediary, but as 1990′s began, a relative of Whitney’s made the pickups at Uncle Rob’s place in Irvington, NJ.  After Whitney married Bobby Brown in 1992 he moved into her estate in Mendham, NJ, her R&B star hubby would pick up supplies of cocaine, he says.
Uncle Rob stopped selling to Whitney in May of 2000, after her dealer was identified as a guy called ‘Rob’ and he feared cops would close in on him.  He estimates during the decade they did business she shelled out a staggering $750,000 to him alone.
Sources told the Globe: Whitney had other suppliers in Chicago, Los Angeles, and in Miami. In Atlanta where Whitney lived for many years, she had countless dealers and ‘friends’ who delivered drugs to her home.
A party promoter named Marlon David said that during Whitney’s ‘Nothing But Love’ comeback tour he made drug sales to her. David claims that when Whitney was in Denmark for her June 3 and 4 performances in Copenhagen her team was ordering vast quantities of illegal substances.
A Swiss-based friend of David’s delivered $6000 worth of cocaine and Adderall to her hotel room in Copenhagen.
At that time David made a chilling prediction. He said: ‘She’s going to go the way of many brilliant but tragic singers – to an early grave.’

The sad thing about all this is that some if not all of her managers and assistants did help her get drugs.  It's so sad that people are so money hungry that they will sit and watch as someone destroys themselves simply because they want a paycheck.

I would have slapped the shit out of Whitney Houston locked her up in a padded room for 90 days and detox her out then another 90 days in a rehab facility.  Then mandatory 3 meetings aweek.  Even if i had to drag that bitch by her hair she would have been clean.

CASSIE TALKS 'KING OF HEARTS' ALBUM

Cassie is to start promotion on her new album ' King of Hearts'.

Cassie premiere her new song and video for 'King Of Hearts' same titled as the lead single.  And that was it. She didn't go to any shows to premiere the album nor did any kind of publicity.

That might change with this interview. Cassie was interview by MTV and she talks about her album and of course Whitney Houston.

MTV: Let’s talk about Whitney Houston's tragic passing. What are some of your favorite Whitney Houston memories or moments? Had you ever met her?
CASSIE: I’ve never met her, but that would have been amazing. “I Will Always Love You” has been stuck in my head for the past four days, and “Waiting to Exhale” is one of my favorite movies. And that soundtrack… She was such an amazing, legendary human being, and her voice just brought so much to the music industry and inspired so many people. And when it happened on CNN and they were playing all of her videos and performances and everything, I was just like, “Wow, this career is just like… out of this world.”

MTV: What can fans expect to hear on your new album?
CASSIE: My new album is just a little bit of stuff for everybody. On “King Of Hearts” I worked with a producer named J2, and it’s got that jungle/dance/pop vibe. And then on what might be my second single I worked with Jean Baptiste  on a song called “Money On Love,” and it’s a little bit funkier. And then I also have my R&B ballads, and I have a ska record called “Mr. Valentine.” It’s kind of a little bit of everything, and that’s who I am. I change my clothes five times a day!

MTV: What do you think is the biggest lesson you’ve learned working with Diddy?
CASSIE: To be patient. You know, your time comes when you’re ready and the world is ready to see. He’s always like, “When you’re ready, they’ll be ready.” So, I’m finally ready.

MTV: Who are some of the artists you most want to collaborate with?
CASSIE: I would love to collaborate with SBTRKT! And I don’t know who the artists are on it, but I’ve been listening to the “Drive” soundtrack. It’s amazing! I loved the movie! The soundtrack is–anybody on there! I’ve been obsessed with it. Listening to it nonstop.

I love 'King Of Hearts' so i can't wait to see what the rest of the album sounds like.

MICROSOFT: GOOGLE TRYING TO CHARGE FOR WEB VIDEOS

Image representing Microsoft as depicted in Cr...
The Patent war heats up once again.

I don't think we have even scratch the surface of this patent war.  With more and more patents changing hands.  Microsoft is accusing both Motorola and parent Google in trying to charge for using video code H.264 which post web videos us.

Microsoft says that they want to charge for all patents involved which include more than 2,000 patents to make that code work alone.  Here is what IntoMobile.com is reporting

Unfortunately, Motorola has refused to make its patents available at anything remotely close to a reasonable price. For a $1,000 laptop, Motorola is demanding that Microsoft pay a royalty of $22.50 for its 50 patents on the video standard, called H.264. As it turns out, there are at least 2,300 other patents needed to implement this standard. They are available from a group of 29 companies that came together to offer their H.264 patents to the industry on FRAND terms. Microsoft’s patent royalty to this group on that $1,000 laptop?
Two cents.

This is just a mess.
